  While we were there the power was knocked out by a storm on the main land and our hosts made a tremendous effort to make sure that we were taken care of during the inconvenience. They even shared the popsicles that were melting in the freezer with us.

  July 2017. I stayed here several years earlier and truly enjoyed it. This year we rented a house on the island and launched our boat from Wa-Wen. Paul and Laneen went above and beyond to help us when our boat motor caught fire several miles from their resort. They towed our boat to their dock and rented us a motor. Paul even helped install the motor. These folks are fair and offer a wide variety of equipment, camp sites, RV sites and cabins. A+

  Great hosts, free coffee, beautiful view. Also had a pressure washer to clean off ORVs and ATVs. Only down side is the water in the showers has a sulfur smell. Despite this I highly recommend!

  A group of four campers, stayed here in the first week of June 2017 Laneen and Paul were awesome people. They were very polite and understood the busyness of the five kids we brought with us.

  My two kids and my cousins three spent countless hours by the waters edge catching snakes, frogs and turtles. Good fishing off the docks and in the channel.

  Incredible views, beautiful property, friendly staff, and clean! Always sad to leave Wa-Wen.
